Gate Street is a distinctive venue with multiple spaces to optimise your wedding experience. The rustic Barn is the perfect place for your ceremony, before you head out to the Orangery and landscaped wedding garden for your drinks reception. An all weather venue, booking your wedding at Gate Street means this is a factor you will not need to worry about. The Orangery link connects the Barn to the Pheasantry which also provides ample space for you and your guests on the day.
The Atrium is an additional space adjacent to the Barn allowing an abundance of light and extra seating can be provided here for the wedding breakfast.
As the evening draws in, the elegant chandeliers and sconces in the Barn create the perfect ambience for a night of dancing and celebration.

For a Civil Marriage or Partnership, please contact 0330 200 1002 and ask for Guildford Marriage Office to book your registrars. Please bear in mind we do not charge for you to host your ceremony with us however there is a fee payable directly to the registry office. For the latest fee updates, please refer to this website.
In collaboration with your chosen caterer, we have an established and efficient procedure in place to allow a transformation from the ceremony to the wedding breakfast during the drinks reception.
The wedding breakfast, as it is traditionally called, is the meal following your ceremony.
Tables and chairs are provided within the venue hire and set up as per your preference. A variety of layout options are available to you and we are very much here to assit to create the perfect setting for your meal.
We have six outstanding caterers to choose from. They will work with you to fufill your every requirement and ensure the food is as memorable as the rest of your day. From tradtional 3-course meals to sharing platters and BBQs, all tastes are catered for.
Nestled among bluebell paths, our hidden woodland location provides a truly unique wedding experience. Just a short wander from the main venue, the woodland structure can be decorated however you wish.
Both of our outdoor ceremony spaces, our Woodland and Farmhouse Avenue, are licensed for Civil Ceremonies, meaning you are legally able to be married here.
There is an additional charge to use this space to ensure we can maintain it’s natural beauty and charm.
Nestled within the landscaped Farmhouse gardens, our Farmhouse Avenue area is manicured and maintained as part of the Gate Street gardens and for use as an outdoor ceremony space. Surrounded by nature and overlooking the beautiful Surrey Hills, this area makes for a peaceful, unforgettable spot to host your ceremony.
There is no additional cost for the use of this space to Gate Street, however décor and furniture, including seating, is required to be provided by the hirer.
We offer two exclusive and stylish areas for you to 'get ready' for your special day. The recently refurbished Old Dairy & Tack room offer plenty of space, natural light and a relaxing environment for you to enjoy with your party ahead of the ceremony.
Our diverse venue means we've got you covered, whatever the weather. Log burners and covered areas, draped with fairy lights, make for the ultimate cosy Autumn/Winter wedding. The well-maintained gardens are stunning all year round, with plenty of unique spots for the perfect photo to be captured. In the warmer months, bifolding doors around the venue provide a hybrid experience with guests able to mix between the Orangery and the private gardens.

Dear India, As parents of a bride, especially when you have just one daughter, we have always dreamt of a wedding day which would be so fondly remembered. Thanks to you and your team that dream was surpassed, and our little girls wedding day was the most memorable and joyous day of our lives. We simply cannot fault anything, and you and your team executed the days proceedings so, so professionally and beautifully, just thinking back to the day now makes us beam with happiness. Thank you! A huge thank you from both of us for the most amazing day on Saturday. From our first visit to the barn, we fell in love and knew it was the place we wanted to get married. We just wanted to write and say a huge ‘thank you’ to you and your very helpful, smiley and friendly staff for making our daughter, Lucy Hollister’s wedding to Jack such a fantastic day. The whole wedding was run seamlessly and with smiles all round from staff all day. Everything was perfect, including the overnight stay in the house, with lovely towels and beautiful bedding – then the amazing breakfast in the morning.
